Eyeglass Recycling / Hearing Aid

The Idaho Lions Sight and Hearing Foundation and the 1,588 Lion members from the 70 clubs in Eastern Oregon, Southwest and Eastern Idaho help collect, sort, and distribute used eyeglasses.  The Foundation, with the help of humanitarian mission teams, distribute the used eyeglasses in underdeveloped nations to people who would not otherwise have access to corrective lenses.

Used and unwated glasses and sunglasses can be dropped off at the Foundation office, located at 1090 N. Cole Rd, Boise ID 83704 during normal business hours: 8:00am to 4:30pm Monday through Friday

There are numerous locations around the community who accept used eyeglasses on behalf of the Lions; businesses, hospitals, doctors offices, retail locations, community centers etc.  Here is a partial list of donation locations.  Please check back for information on new locations.

Hearing aids can also be donated at our Foundation office.  Other various community organizations, manufacturers and caring individuals donate used and unwated hearing aids which are then refurbished and distributed back into the community.
