Mission

The Idaho – Eastern Oregon Lions Sight and Hearing Foundation is a humanitarian organization dedicated to serve our Lions clubs, Idaho communities, and theworld,as an outstanding quality provider of sight and hearing assistance.

Vision

To be recognized as a premiere humanitarian service organization in our multiple district.  The Foundation will be committed to restoring sight and hearing locally, nationally, and globally while integrating all the resources available to us.

Our primary services include The Idaho Lions Eye Bank, the Lions Mobile Health Screening Unit, Diabetes Awareness, The Lions Hearing Aid Bank, and the Lions personal assistance fund.

We have been successful in providing eye banking services.  The Eye Bank has an excellent reputation and is best known for providing quality corneal tissue and restoring sight to those afflicted with blindness around the world.  The Eye Bank is profitable and has great potential for growth and for becoming a leader in its industry.  To best take advantage of our growth opportunities, the Eye Bank would like to expand with a satellite office in Eastern Idaho.  These expenditures will eventually allow us to finance and support the planned growth for the Foundation without sacrificing the quality of service for which we are known.

The Foundation’s mission of providing sight and hearing assistance will be accomplished by creating a high level of visibility and awareness for our Lions Clubs and our services by a consistent and carefully targeted marketing strategy and by employing a paid employee of the foundation to oversee marketing, fund raising, grant writing, and correspondence of Foundation business with all concerned parties.
